Sunset Ridge Farm

576 Malbons Mills Rd

Skowhegan ME

Sunset Ridge Farm in Skowhegan has been a family-owned and operated farm for over 300 years. Previously known as Malbons Farm, this property was gifted to the Malbon Family in 1700 in a land grant from the King of England, King William III.  From then until the 21st century it has stayed in the Malbon family name.  The house (which is still standing today) was built in 1701 and the current barn was erected in 1740.  Although this farm has withstood many changes over the past 3 centuries, it still offers us a glimpse of days gone by.  We are pleased to have our self serve farm stand open 7 days a week at this location.

Farm Stand

Open daily from 11am to 6pm

Our self-serve farmstand is open 7 days a week.  Our hours are listed 11am to 6pm each day. For beef sales, please call or text ahead to (207) 569-3276 to be sure we are available to assist you. We have, of course, beef, eggs, honey, syrup, goats milk soap and other goats milk bath and body products, kids items & so much more!

Be sure to visit our "History Wall" where you will find a copy of the original land grant made to the Malbon family in 1700 and many items that are far older than any of us!  The history in this barn seeps into you as soon as you step in.  We pride ourselves in preserving the legacy that has been in this property for more than 300 years.

(please use door to on left to enter farmstand).
